Today is one of those days when it seems that time is going faster or that you go in slow motion and it costs you twice as much time to do the same things ... With which, I left home later than usual and I arrived just in time time to work u.u (I'm usually there about 10min before).
Also, at work the time passed soooo slow TT ^ TT But well, we all have those days.
My workmate brought flowers to the daughter of my boss, so that my boss would give them to her, so cute... If I had known I would have also participated to buy them ... But I am very bad for this kind of details ... u.u
Today I finished the cape, since it only lacked the final details, finish sewing the views by hand and make a kind of chain in the low to join seams and that the lining does not move from its place, I do not know how to explain it with words , but it is like a loose thread that joins the two fabrics in the same point so that, even if you move, the lining does not leave its place ^^
And, of course, pass a brush to the velvet to remove threads and lint and iron.
To iron I was given a tool that I had not used in my life and we do not know what it's called in English ... what a disaster! xD It was like a very fine barbed comb, like the ones in the cutting tables, so that the fabric does not move, the tines enter the fabric without damaging it and it helps to iron the seams so that they are completely flat and in place. I used this tool to iron all the seams and also the edges of the layer, that is, those joints between fabric and lining where everything has to be in its place in sight ^^
The rest of the layer was ironed normal and without pressing much on the reverse, that is, ironing the lining.
The rest of the day, guess what it was? Yes! Ungather togas to add belcros later xD
It was an entertaining day, too.
Today I ate miso soup! <3 That reminds me of Rokuseki, Natsumi okaasan and Felipe otousan <3 <3 <3 They are lovely and I miss them!
My partner came to work today all sexy wearing a tight minidress, stockings and boots .... And hair loose! Sooo cute <3
