The planet is a vast and beautiful place, full of exciting and wonderful people.
As I matriculate my way down the field of life, I will never forget this moment and you wonderful people who helped make this day possible.
I'm a lucky girl. I found some amazing people who go walk every Wednesday here, and I believe I would join them from now on😍❤️

You all know that I'm off on weekends ^^ So yesterday I started looking for what I could do over the weekend ... Well, on Facebook, I do not know how, I found an event of a group that was going to hike today from the Kinneil Museum to the Blackness Castle; from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., so I could not help but join them ^^
My favorite Scotsman in the world could not join us because today he had to start work at 3, a shame u.u
Even though I was afraid that it would suddenly rain or something (in fact, I was prepared just in case), I decided to go on my own anyway.
I put on some leggings and one of the most comfortable dresses I brought, the rubber boots, I prepared the backpack with food, drink and everything I needed just in case and there I left ^^
And I do not regret anything.
The people were lovely, like Vigo's Andaina XD Old but charming people, they made me spend an unforgettable day <3
I made friends with a couple and a couple of wonderful women and they were telling me stories about the places we were visiting <3 Lovely! And looking after me to not be left behind or lost ... A marvel of people!
Also, at the end of the walk they took me on a touristic trip! <3 They are really lovely! <3
But back to the beginning, I get excited and I mess it all xD
Well, the walk is done every year for the anniversary of John Muir, and starts at the Kinneil museum. I left early in the morning prepared and excited about the subject.
My wonderful Scot, it seems that he wants me to fall in love with him, and he got up and prepared with me, we had breakfast and he walked me to the bus stop that took me to Bo'ness, where the museum is and the starting point of the 12 miles walk too ^^ This man cannot be more lovely <3
I arrived the first one to the museum, since I did not have buses to arrive later, and I also wanted to go with time in case I got lost ^^
People are coming to the few until, shortly before the time, the one who was going to be our guide approaches and starts handing out leaflets and telling us how the route will be ^^
We set off after 5 minutes of the supposed departure time ^ ^ And we headed for a lovely walk on the banks of ... a lake? I'm not sure xDDD Up to the church in Carriden, a charming place <3 Also, in this church we can find a stained glass with an image of the Virgin carrying the baby Jesus, which is not seen in any other church in Scotland, there isn't usually images of the virgin, less in stained glass. Or so told me one of the volunteers who served us tea there.
The people here are love, I'm in love with this place.
Well, the weirdest thing I've done in a church so far, get there and have tea with shortbread and cookies, have tea in one of the pews in the church, take pictures and keep walking ^^
In this church we were joined by other associations of walkers, with what we end up being a really large group of people. Rounding the hundred people. Amazing. Even they were surprised at the large number of people we met.
But it was an amazing sunny day in Scotland, I guess it's normal for people to want to go out and do things in these circumstances.
From the church we set to the castle, on another path that seemed to be taken from a fairy tale.
Several scenes from the Outlander series have been filmed in Blackness Castle and it was also the castle of King Arthur in a Mel Gibson film, which makes it a tourist place par excellence, especially with the repercussion of the Outlander series.
The castle is wonderful, and promotional images of the series with Jamie and Claire at the foot of the castle come to mind. Stunning place.
Once in the castle we had a break of about an hour to eat, so we looked for a place to camp to do a minipicnic.
We ate telling stories and anecdotes of the experience that is traveling or living abroad and its oddities (I'll post a post about it ^^) and, when 10 minutes were missing by the time we supposedly left the castle, we headed for meeting point ..... to be told that the people and the guide had left for a while ¬¬
Luckily I made friends with these people, because I would be totally lost in another way xD
Well, this group of wonderful people asked me if I had something to do at the end and I was offered a minitour by Bo'ness to see the basics and know the location of the most characteristic sites. I could not say no, obviously xD Also, the walk was surprisingly good and I did not notice fatigue at all, so I thought it was a great plan.
They take me to see the steam train station. Steam train! I thought that did not work anymore! Definitely, I have to make a trip on that train ^^
The location of the steam museum and the car museum (they were closed for the hour we arrived) and several emblematic buildings of the city.
We also saw ... a cinema of 1919! That not only is still standing but it is still working. OMG! This mini-city has great things and I do not have that far from home! I have to go back dressed as a 20's girl, make millions of photos and go see a vintage movie to that cinema of the time <3 <3 Would not it be great? I would love to. I hope to do it while I'm here ^^
And from here, back to the museum.
Upon arriving at the museum, one of the girls told the guide that she was surprised because they left before the time and because she did not realize she lost 5 people in the group. Very bad on the part of the guide! xD
We arrived at the museum almost at 5:30p.m.
And it turned out that one of them lived in Grangemouth, so she brought me home by car. A perfect and wonderful day!
Once at home, I vacuum, I make tea, wash the dishes and talk to the family by phone.
And ... when I go to the bathroom and see myself in the mirror ... It can not be! I've got sunburns!
Who is told that a Spaniard got sunburns in Scotland on a day when she did not even get so much sun or heat ... What a joke!
When my favourite Scottish on earth arrived home, he was mocking me because of that TT^TT And he will do that for days... u.u
