Welcome, Beltane

Good evening, people!
How have you started the week?

Me thousand per hour, as always xDD

After a weekend of confinement because my favorite Scotsman was sick, we started Monday with aenergy and desire to leave home <3

The day was super nice, but my mood was not exactly great, so I went to work dressed in normal, pants and shirt. With such a bad luck that the shirt I chose marked all the sweat. And it takes me an hour walking to get to workplace, counting on that I always charge a backpack with a rainponcho in case it rains, the tupper with lunch, some fruit and a bottle of water. That added to the sun ... does not help. So imagine the picture when I got to work xD The handles of the backpack marked, back ..... Not exactly the perfect picture. On top of that, I always carry a jacket in my backpack, because you never know weather in Scotland, and you can do all five seasons on the same day, but it just so happened that I did not take anything that day.
But hey, I had courage to spare.

My colleague did not arrive at work at time, and my boss said that she had sent a message, so we did not expect her that morning ^^
Normally we all have breakfast together when we are already all in the company, but this day there was no breakfast u.u

Nothing happens,  working time, which is what we have to do. Also, I was all spliced with the gowns ^^

The day flew by and when I wanted to realize I was on my way home.

Tonight we're going to a festival in Edinburgh! Apparently the spring solstice is celebrated here, and an ode to the goddess Beltane is made, to the union of the male god with the female goddess, the arrival of spring and the feast of fire.
In my head it sounded like San Juan's night totally.
And I was not so wrong.

The most wonderful Scotsman in the multiverse had bought tickets. Today he had a funeral, so the plan is to see us at home, change clothes and leave for Edinburgh.

I arrive home before him, I wear a very witchy outfit and I prepare to go to this fire festival. Because everyone knows that I hate these things  (read with irony).

We made our way to Edinburgh. We were lucky to arrive just in time for the direct train.

Upon arrival, we set out to haunt the old area looking for a place to dine before leaving for Canton Hill, the place where the festival took place ^^

As we roamed the area I heard a familiar sound ...... And who would be at that hour playing in the streets but the Spinning blowfish! I could recognize them anywhere in the world. We approached and listened to a song, then we continued the search, since we were already without time before the festival u.u

At the end we dined at the old bank converted into pub "The Standing Order". A superhamburger with potatoes and whiskey sauce <3
And a couple of pints of guinnes and we got on our way.

Upon arriving at the festival site ... THE QUEUE WERE ALL ARROUND EDINBURG !! Too many people there! Unbeliebable! After trailing the queue to the end and tell him that many people in Spain would try to sneak in (especially those who were colleagues in the ranks), we had to wait for 2 hours in the cold until we could reach the cemetery gates ...

But, even if we could only stay for an hour because we had to catch the last train back to Falkirk, it was really worth it.

Performances with fire and nature as protagonists, the outfits of the people .... <3 I have fallen in love with this Scottish holiday <3
Besides that you all know that I have a pyromaniac soul ^^

I was very sorry not to have stayed to see how they lit the fire, or even to know where it was, but I liked being there. For the next year I'll get a hotel in Edinburgh and I'll stay until the end <3

The night was super short and it took me a lifetime to get up. TT ^ TT

We arrived on Tuesday to work a bit exhausted, but renewed spirit <3

I put on a little cherry dress and it was hot enough in the morning to go to work with only the dress, neither jacket nor coat. It seems that spring really arrived! Thanks Beltane! <3 <3 <3

We arrived work, we had breakfast together as usual, and to work!

When I had been sewing gowns for a while, my boss changed my task for a much more important one: arranging and customizing a dress as a communion dress for a supercute little girl for a wedding <3 <3 <3

So I was entertained all day with that task. I learned a lot of new things, like a different way of sewing the fasteners as a bra so that they are much more secure and ... finish the seam of owerlock! Yes, yes, it is finished! This is something that I had never seen done or done in my life, and I loved learning it and knowing it to give a better life and appearance to the clothes from now on <3 <3 <3

A thousand thanks, Ilona, I can never thank you enough for having accepted me as an Erasmus + in your company! <3 <3 <3

When leaving, my boss that can not be more lovely, approached me to the super, waited until I made the shopping and took me home. Can she be more adorable? I do not think so.

Today I will try to make another culinary experiment of mine and see what happens!

P.D .: I think I have to improve the experiment, but we were so hungry that we ate it anyway xDDD The base of the potato was not as cooked as it should be, but the top part was burnt TT ^ TT
