Lets see who's becomen green of envy, cause some things are not normal....
I left home, and on my way to the bus station a wheel of the suitcase got damaged .... And I began to think someone or something do not want me to move forward. But seeing the positive side as I always try, destitute majors help me carry my suitcase inside the bus station and they take it down to the bus ^^ so lovely .
My grandmother comes to say goodbye to the station
Once on the bus I went to Oporto <3 And there I spent the day waiting for the plane .... Once they let me check in, they told me that I had 20kg more in luggage and I was not allowed to go into the plane that way...so I left behind the surplus , or I do not get on the plane ...
Again I think someone does not want me to go to Scotland, but nothing ruins my mood xD It's amazing how to fulfill your dreams has the ability to not let almost anything spoil your mood or chafe the day.
I have barely time before the plane leaves, so I get rid first of the things that I think weigh more, and the first clothes that come to me by hand. The lockers can not be left for more than 24 hours and there is no one around to give them clothes ... in addition, for once even the carry-on luggage is put on and there are more people who have to empty things from the suitcase due to overweight allowed ... or pay xD To which almost nobody is willing ...
Above is the photo of some of the things that I had to get rid of, with all the pain of my heart u.u
I prefer neither to remember nor to talk about something that I had to leave behind because my heart still hurts u.u
Finally I get to the plane, without the ruined humor but with a small hole in the heart u.u Still, it will be the trip of my life!
The nerves began to take hold of me. Too many changes. New house, new work, new landscape, the fear of not making a good impression or not being enough ..... going to live with a stranger (a very sexy stranger, I assure you xD) ...
On the plane I got the first seat next to the front entrance door, which is interesting, since I had never occupied those seats. Next to me is a child, the kind who think they are the greatest beauty that exists in the world. Bad. I knew that I was going to hate him from minute 0. The flight attendant, however, is delighted and does not stop trying to get his attention and talk. This is the kind of thing I will never understand about the world ... but, well, there must be everything. Next to the child sits a gentleman who greets everyone animated, to which the child twists his face and does not answer. We take off ... and as soon as we are allowed to unbuckle our belts, the child disappears. And thank goodness.
After a while, the gentleman begins to talk to me. He is an Icelandic biologist obsessed with the history and evolution of the world and its inhabitants. He tells me that in Iceland they have the oldest written documents in the world and that they are kept in a museum. They are famous for being the ones that preserve and transmit the history of the whole world. He also started talking to me about the Basques and he says he is fascinated by the Basque language; that he believes was the pre-European language. That before the Romans imposed the Latin, it was what was spoken in Spain. It's a superinteresting theory that keeps me busy and distracted the whole flight. Very nice sir. I present to you Thomas:
Although I've always preferred to fly by day, there are really magical things to fly at night: Let's see if you guess which photo is Porto and which one is Edinburgh.
When landing, the thought returns that something or someone does not want me in Scotland, but it is not going to get away with xD
My suitcase did not appear and, when it does, it is destroyed ¬ ¬ So the first thing I do when I get to Scotland is cover a claim sheet. I do not know if it will get anywhere, but just in case xD
In the photo is not appreciated, but the lower corner is completely broken and directly missing a half wheelbarrow and the one that had broken down on the way to the bus station and 2 in the middle .... What a disaster. Good thing I'm going by taxi to Falkirk.
After all the legal paperwork and the odyssey of getting here ... I am finally in Scotland !!! <3 <3 <3
Next step: Warn people that I'm alive and send location in real time, just in case.
The taxi was waiting for me at the airport pick-up point. I arrive and they ask me if I am Miss McManus. Interesting begin. Taxis here go in the fucking flame!
And finally, I arrived at my destination and I found the most beautiful Scotsman in the world waiting for me at the front door of the house to carry my suitcase inside the house and welcome me with a warm tea <3
We spent hours talking and planning for the next day until we almost fell asleep on the couch. Bedtime. Tomorrow will be unpacking day ^^
